Educational Programs for Artists

As part of its mission to foster emerging artists, VAE offers an extensive line up of educational programs geared toward giving professional artists the tools they need to succeed--workshops, lectures, technique instruction, demonstrations and critiques. artists' night Join the artist night group on the artist directory!
This educational program hosts speakers, critiques, and demonstrations on the third Tuesday of every month. Registration opens one month prior to the event. Contact Rachel (information above) to register. Space is limited, so sign up early!

NEW: photographers' forum Join the photographers' forum on the artist directory!
The Photographers' Forum meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 7pm at VAE. This group is coordinated by Ray Pfeiffer to be a supportive network for photographers to explore ideas and techniques and offer each other feedback and support.

The Painters' Forum meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm at VAE. This group is coordinated by Dan Nelson (artist and instructor) to be a supportive network for artists to explore ideas and techniques and offer each other feedback and support.

abstract & contemporary artists' forum Join the abstract & contemporary artists' forum on the artist directory!
The Abstract & Contemporary Artists' Forum meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7pm VAE. This group is similar in concept and practice to the original Painters' Forum but geared more toward artists working with abstraction and contemporary concepts and techniques.
