Alex Lehmann

Alex was born in Florence, Italy to an Italian father and a Cuban mother. He grew up in South Florida amidst a melting pot of cultures and speaks three languages fluently. Alex is a graduate of Florida International University in Miami where he earned undergraduate degrees in Finance and Accounting and a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
He began his career in the commercial banking industry where he managed a group of commercial lenders and maintained a portfolio of clients ranging from sporting boat manufacturers to restaurants. In 2003, after a successful 10-year career in commercial banking, Alex switched pursuits to accounting and in 2005 moved from South Florida to Raleigh. Alex is now a CPA and Tax Manager at McMillan, Pate & Company, LLP where he specializes in corporate and partnership taxation.
In Miami, Alex served on several Boards of local not-for-profit entities, volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and was active in Junior Achievement, a not-for-profit organization focused on dropout prevention, self-esteem and workforce readiness for kids in middle and high schools.
