Corey Waters

Corey is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill receiving a BA in International Studies. After graduation she became a web specialist at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center. In 2003, Corey became a Special Projects Manager at the Council for Entrepreneurial Development and then on to Program Manager.

In 2004, she begin a career with Silicon Valley Bank as an associate on Technology Commercial Lending Team for the Carolinas where she continues to work.Her duties include monitoring credit risk for clients in a $24mm loan portfolio, prospecting new clients, analyzing new deals and engineering loan structures.

Corey was the recipient of 2005 Core Values Award for "Enterprising Behavior".
