N. Lee Ball
I am exploring rural landscape or historical urban structures and shadow in interpretive context using oil paint. My work is a nostalgic reflection of vintage artifacts in contemporary context. My work exposes a fascination for "the good ol' days" as an outsider looking in.
I select my own images that reflect the observable evolution of surroundings, give cues to place, or strengthen visual composition. I apply layers of color to enhance mood, and employ visual vernacular to strengthen the artwork's intent.
Rosemary Field
I have grown up in and seen many cities and small towns. My work reflects the colors, shapes, and feelings found in cities big and small. I also focus on certain aspects and elements of both nature and industrial views.

Tarrah Goforth
My works content grows from my life experiences. Its aim is to capture memories and impressions from my family, life, travels, and surroundings. As an artist I experiment with materials. Oil paint, watercolor, and oil pastels are vehicles for my expression. I focus on vivid and embellished color, textures, and contrast. Most recently I have been inspired to take an intimate look at those closest to me in a series of zoomed in portraits. The themes of journey, movement, progress, and change, are motifs I continually investigate. I strive to tell a story in each painting, and I hope to communicate my ideas in new and inspiring ways.

Scott Renk
As an artist in Raleigh, North Carolina I have had the privilege to be associated with the Visual Art Exchange as both teacher and artist. My art is a reflection of figurative and abstract work in clay or stone, and I have begun to explore the mixed-media genre as well. I believe every day we create something we make the world a better and more interesting place, as well as reflect the beauty, humor, imagination, and struggles of humanity. During this process of making art, music, or writing ,we become students for life.

Aditya Shringarpure
My love of art stems from my early childhood in India, where I was exposed to a conglomeration of art ranging from traditional Indian to contemporary western. I find myself synthesizing images from places I visit into themes of urban decay, renewal, and everyday life. I am always attempting to find a pathway to incorporate these images into my work, bridging the gap between traditional and contemporary art. I create my own visual language, combining my interests in photography, printmaking and drawing into images that reflect both abstraction and realism at once.
