About the Artist
Raleigh native Paul Friedrich is one of the acclaimed leaders of the South's Low-Pop art movement. One of Raleigh's most famous pop-icon celebrities, he is a collected painter, cartoonist (Onion Head Monster), editor (Hellcar dvd/online magazine), co-founder of SPARKcon, and renown world traveler. Friedrich is one of 12 Raleigh artist featured on the CAT buses for the art-on-the-move. He painted two wolves for the Rambling Red Wolf project in 2001-2002. He also painted the graffiti wall "You Are Here" at Marble's Children's Museum in downtown Raleigh.
